Description

  • Own the in-app education strategy and execution, including quarterly OKRs tied to product launches and GTM initiatives.
  • Extend education beyond onboarding into activation, adoption, retention, and renewal.
  • Administer, optimize, and evolve the in-app guidance platform, currently Chameleon.
  • Build and personalize onboarding and adoption flows for core personas and customer segments.
  • Design in-app learning experiences using behavioral triggers, persona-based personalization, progressive disclosure, tooltips, videos, and interactive guides.
  • Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and product leadership to embed education into the build and release process from day one.
  • Establish testing and optimization frameworks, including structured A/B experiments, to measure education impact.
  • Connect education outcomes to product adoption, onboarding activation, and revenue metrics.
  • Use AI-powered workflows and automation to improve efficiency, accelerate content production, and scale delivery.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to align in-app education with shared goals and share behavioral insights.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in customer education or a closely related field.
  • 3-5 years of meaningful experience owning in-app guidance or digital adoption strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with in-app guidance platforms such as Chameleon, Pendo, WalkMe, or similar.
  • Ability to both build and strategize within in-app guidance tools.
  • Strong collaboration experience with Product teams and ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience translating technical roadmap language into education strategy.
  • Data-driven, experiment-minded approach with experience designing tests and iterating based on results.
  • Comfort with AI workflows and automation tooling.
  • Experience navigating cross-functional complexity and a rapidly evolving product environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present strategy and results to leadership.
  • Experience in a consultative problem-solving approach focused on root-cause analysis.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $120,000 to $139,000 USD.
