Description

  • Help developers navigate AI-accelerated workflows and balance rapid prototyping with established engineering practices for performance, code health, and reliability.
  • Create authentic technical content that shares engineering insights with developers in person and online.
  • Build a feedback loop between developer communities and internal teams by translating real-world user experiences into product insights.
  • Advocate for developer needs internally and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Design and ship open-source boilerplate templates, quickstarts, and tools that simplify observability integration.
  • Support AI-native workflows and next-generation platforms such as Vercel and Supabase.
  • Work across cloud providers including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Mentor and educate other engineers through technical guidance and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Approximately 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience shipping applications from scratch or working in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Regular, day-to-day use of AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools.
  • Comfort writing and debugging code across multiple programming languages, such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
  • Experience with deployment paradigms across next-generation platforms and traditional cloud ecosystems.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in technical storytelling and community engagement.
  • A publicly available portfolio of peer-to-peer artifacts such as GitHub repositories, technical blogs, video walkthroughs, or public speaking presentations.
  • Strong interest in developer education, mentorship, and emerging technologies.
  • Active participation or leadership in developer communities such as meetups, Discord, Reddit, or open-source ecosystems is a plus.
