Description

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across hyperscaler, software, SaaS, hardware, and professional services spend categories.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with enterprise technology goals, business transformation, and financial targets.
  • Evaluate sourcing opportunities using market intelligence and industry trends, and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Own the vendor lifecycle from RFx through contract execution, including commercial terms, SLAs, and exit provisions.
  • Manage and optimize the technology vendor portfolio to reduce redundancy, rationalize spend, and improve ROI.
  • Build and manage third-party alignment programs, operating cadences, roadmaps, and execution plans with strategic vendors.
  • Serve as the escalation point for vendor performance issues and drive remediation against contractual commitments.
  • Lead technical due diligence and integration planning for strategic third-party and open-source technologies.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, agendas, and executive readouts to support governance and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Security, Compliance, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure sourcing and vendor activities meet organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technology sourcing, vendor management, or technology procurement in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience negotiating large-scale technology agreements, including hyperscaler contracts, enterprise software, and SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of commercial licensing models, cloud pricing frameworks, and software contract structures.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships at the executive level.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex sourcing and vendor issues into clear executive narratives.
  • Experience with source-to-contract (S2C) platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, or Zip (preferred).
  • Familiarity with open-source governance, third-party risk management (TPRM), and software asset management (SAM) (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant professional certification such as CSMP, CPSM, or ITIL is a plus.

  • Pay range for Zone 1: $153,600 to $211,200 USD.
