Description

  • Maintain and grow a single large Healthcare account in Michigan, identifying new opportunities within the account
  • Meet with CIOs, IT and LOB executives, program managers, system integrators, and other key stakeholders to advance deals
  • Close new and existing accounts while balancing quick, small wins and longer, complex sales cycles
  • Drive and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, including forecasting and pipeline management
  • Track all customer details, use cases, purchase timeframes, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce
  • Use a solution-based selling approach to create customer value and promote Databricks’ enterprise cloud data platform
  • Expand customer vision and guide deals forward to compress decision cycles
  • Prioritize opportunities, allocate appropriate resources, and build internal and external plans for account success
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction across accounts and engagements

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience with demonstrated history of exceeding sales quotas
  • Field sales experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales
  • Experience managing large, complex Healthcare accounts preferred
  • Prior customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other executive decision makers
  • Proven success closing new accounts while growing existing accounts
  • Experience working at or navigating early-stage companies
  • Ability to simply articulate intricate cloud technologies and a passion for cloud
  • Understanding of Apache Spark and big data preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience using Salesforce for tracking pipeline and forecasting (preferred)

  • On-target total compensation range of $272,000–$374,000 USD (local pay range)
