Description

  • Own architecture and lead design decisions for customer solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Databricks best practices.
  • Design and develop applications across backend, frontend, and integrations for enterprise users.
  • Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion and transformation through ML/AI model integration to user-facing applications.
  • Embed with customer teams to understand technical and business challenges and drive impact.
  • Engage with stakeholders ranging from technical individual contributors to executives.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering across the customer journey from pre-sales through post-deployment.
  • Contribute accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that can be reused across accounts.
  • Influence the Databricks product roadmap through customer solution work.

Requirements

  • Strong background in software engineering with experience across backend, frontend, and systems integration.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java/Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy production applications that combine data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
  • Familiarity integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini into applications.
  • Experience using AI code generation tools to accelerate productivity.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate with a broad stakeholder range, from engineers to C-level executives, and translate complex concepts into actionable solutions.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to explore new technologies, domains, and customer challenges.
