Description

  • Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives across the assigned territory.
  • Advise customers as an expert solution architect and trusted partner on data analytics architecture, design, and platform adoption.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements across the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
  • Coach junior Solutions Architects and other teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
  • Lead customer-facing collateral, workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to support technical community engagement.
  • Support complex technical pre-sales conversations throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives to drive long-term customer success.
  • Create technical solutions for specialized customer needs and help customers navigate a competitive landscape.
  • Continue developing in one of four career tracks: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.

Requirements

  • Experience handling complex customer interactions in a technical pre-sales capacity.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by building relationships and coordinating teams.
  • Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Willingness to learn a basic level of Spark.
  • Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs.
  • Experience navigating a competitive sales or solutioning landscape.
  • Preferred: background in data analytics architecture, design, and platform adoption.
  • Preferred: experience engaging with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
