Description

  • Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the territory.
  • Partner with an Account Executive to co-plan and execute account strategies for the assigned product line.
  • Build technical credibility with stakeholders as a trusted advisor and champion for the product line.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and customer-facing collateral to support adoption.
  • Translate field feedback and customer insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical issues in mission-critical customer environments.
  • Work with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations to improve customer outcomes.
  • Engage clients across one or more business units and verticals to position the product and support informed adoption decisions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) experience across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
  • Credibility influencing OLTP products and shaping roadmap priorities with market insight.
  • Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems with Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
  • Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and migrations.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
  • Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives in highly coordinated cross-functional GTM and R&D efforts.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for programming, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Broad experience in two or more of the following areas: data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.
