Description

  • Lead delivery of complex customer engagements by providing technical leadership and guidance to the implementation team.
  • Guide technical teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs between established and innovative approaches.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies that could affect timelines and project goals.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, status reports, program plans, and customer responses with minimal rework.
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resources across technically complex engagements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customers on technical delivery issues and coordinate rapid resolution across Databricks as needed.
  • Build trust with technical teams and stakeholders by clearly communicating Databricks’ vision and facilitating productive meetings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve customer outcomes and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Support multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining delivery quality and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Experience managing large, complex engagements and handling unexpected technical challenges.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions without being a hands-on coder.
  • Strong program and project management experience, including managing scope, budget, and timeline trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to influence technical teams and tailor messaging for engineers through executives.
  • Experience with BI, data management, and big data technologies is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple engagements while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and comfort staying current on technology trends.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $172,000–$236,500 USD for Zone 1, $154,800–$212,850 USD for Zone 2, $146,200–$201,100 USD for Zone 3, and $137,600–$189,200 USD for Zone 4.
