Description

  • Deliver professional services engagements to help customers build and productionize first-of-its-kind AI applications.
  • Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions that incorporate techniques from Databricks’ Mosaic AI Research to address customer problems.
  • Own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internal GenAI applications, including deployment, evaluation, and optimization.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across a variety of domains and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and developer relations to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
  • Support and partner with internal subject matter expert (SME) teams to drive strategic initiatives and long-term priorities.
  • Present externally (e.g., Data + AI Summit) and represent Databricks as a thought leader.
  • Work directly with customers and teammates to stay current on GenAI, LLMOps, and ML trends and apply them to customer solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience building GenAI applications (examples: RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning) using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
  • Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and performance optimizations.
  • Extensive hands-on industry data science experience using common tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
  • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience communicating and/or teaching technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in customer-facing roles or delivering professional services engagements.
  • Passion for collaboration, lifelong learning, and driving business value through AI.
  • Preferred: Experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed datasets.

Benefits

  • Base pay range: $180,656 — $248,360 USD (Zones 1–4).
  • Total compensation may include eligibility for an annual performance bonus and equity.
