Description

  • Drive and implement technology solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Translate customer business requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
  • Configure and manage GCP services including Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
  • Architect and implement GCP security practices using services including Assured Workloads, IAP, WIF, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center.
  • Lead technical teams by delegating work, reviewing designs and deliverables, and coaching junior engineers.
  • Develop architecture documents and technical artifacts, make design decisions, and present solutions to clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Stay current with GCP technologies and their applicability to the public sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of cloud computing experience and 3+ years of GCP experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with one or more languages, such as Python.
  • Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Required certifications: Security+ and Google Professional Cloud Architect; at least one Google Cloud Professional Certification.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
  • Experience with Terraform, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and cloud CI/CD.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud services and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: Agile experience, GCP compliance products, data transformation, U.S. public-sector customers, and DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.

Benefits

  • Primarily remote work arrangement.
  • Salary range of $150,000–$170,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunity to work on Google Cloud solutions for public-sector customers.
