Description

  • Design and maintain GCP landing zones aligned with FedRAMP High and NIST requirements.
  • Lead technical assessments of pilots and new workloads and recommend production architectures.
  • Plan and lead application and data migrations from on-premises environments and other clouds to GCP.
  • Design secure hybrid connectivity for cloud migration projects.
  • Champion Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, version-controlled, compliant environments.
  • Establish cloud cost optimization, governance, and resource-tagging practices.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, application teams, and project teams on cloud operations and modernization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technical roles.
  • Experience designing, governing, and integrating secure GCP solutions and FedRAMP High/NIST-aligned landing zones.
  • Expertise with GCP network architecture, including Network Connectivity Center, multi-VPC designs, HA Cloud VPN, Interconnect, and TIC policy.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems with GKE and serverless platforms and leading application and data migrations to GCP.
  • Strong Terraform proficiency and hands-on experience with cost optimization, cloud governance, and resource tagging.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust background investigation; applicants must be U.S. citizens who have physically resided in the U.S. for at least three years.
  • Preferred: Google Cloud Professional certification, federal or federal health program experience, and knowledge of FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, CIS benchmarks, zero trust, container security, TLS/mTLS, PKI, Ansible, AWS, Azure, or OCI.
