Description

  • Manage the medical file review intake process and oversee turnaround time.
  • Supervise the Customer Service Representative team and provide day-to-day guidance.
  • Review case handling and file review activities to ensure cases are properly notated and processed timely.
  • Resolve questions related to case assignment and process handling.
  • Conduct monthly staff audits to ensure goals are met and provide coaching or training when needed.
  • Train new team members on case workflow, processes, and client-specific requirements.
  • Hold one-on-one meetings with staff to review progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in writing initial and annual employee reviews.
  • Provide input into hiring and firing decisions when needed.
  • Communicate updates to clients on cases in progress and ensure proper documentation for complex cases.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supervising or managing teams is critical.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Strong typing skills are essential.
