Description

  • Design and build scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
  • Develop and maintain secure REST APIs and internal services.
  • Work on integrations between SaaS platforms, payment and notification services, and internal systems.
  • Implement event-driven flows such as webhooks, retries, and idempotency handling.
  • Contribute to authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2, JWT, and API keys.
  • Identify and solve performance, concurrency, and scalability challenges in production systems.
  • Improve observability, logging, and error handling for production environments.
  • Own technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions.
  • Collaborate daily in English with U.S.-based engineering teams and clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing backend systems in production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS in production.
  • Experience building and consuming APIs, including REST, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience integrating with external SaaS platforms or services such as payment, notification, or data pipeline systems.
  • Solid understanding of authentication and authorization, including OAuth2 and JWT or similar.
  • Strong grasp of backend fundamentals, including performance, scalability, reliability, and error handling.
  • Advanced English for daily communication with U.S.-based teams and clients.
  • Experience with iPaaS tools such as Workato, Mulesoft, or Boomi, or similar, is preferred.
  • Experience integrating with ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, or Business Central is preferred.
  • Experience with high-concurrency or high-throughput systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
  • CI/CD practices and DevOps awareness are preferred.
