Description

  • Design and build scalable backend services using Node.js.
  • Develop and maintain secure APIs.
  • Build integrations between SaaS platforms, ERPs, and internal systems.
  • Implement event-driven workflows such as webhooks, retries, and idempotency handling.
  • Contribute to authentication and authorization flows using OAuth2, JWT, and API keys.
  • Identify and resolve performance, concurrency, and scalability issues.
  • Improve observability, logging, and error handling in production systems.
  • Participate in technical decisions and architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing backend systems in production, including integrations and distributed architectures.
  • Strong production experience with Node.js.
  • Experience building and working with APIs.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Experience integrating with external systems or third-party services.
  • Solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Advanced English for working with U.S.-based clients.
  • Nice-to-have experience with event-driven architectures or webhooks.
  • Nice-to-have experience with iPaaS tools such as Mulesoft, Workato, or Boomi.
  • Nice-to-have experience integrating with ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, or Business Central.
  • Nice-to-have experience with high-concurrency systems.
  • Nice-to-have familiarity with CI/CD practices.
