Description

  • Lead DevOps initiatives for a large legacy system currently in production with limited documentation.
  • Drive platform modernization toward serverless architectures.
  • Standardize security practices and support vulnerability management efforts.
  • Standardize monitoring across environments.
  • Collaborate with Moody’s engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment and a smooth transition.
  • Troubleshoot and independently resolve technical issues during modernization and migration efforts.
  • Architect, design, and optimize deployment pipelines and automation systems.
  • Define DevOps and cloud modernization standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Identify risks, impact areas, and opportunities for quality improvements.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
  • Advanced or fluent English proficiency is required.
  • Must be located in AMER time zones or have strong availability overlap.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and managing AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Docker, including image creation, optimization, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code provisioning and management.
  • Ability to read, understand, and work with Python build scripts.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL database operations from an infrastructure perspective.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, logging pipelines, and vulnerability management workflows.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
