Description

  • Guide the strategy, planning, research, user experience, design, and development of learning ecosystems for client projects.
  • Work with client stakeholders, project managers, leaders, and courseware teams to understand requirements and align learning strategy with implementation.
  • Align learning experience goals with client vision, goals, and expectations throughout each engagement.
  • Analyze client learning needs and collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives and goals.
  • Drive innovation in learning experience design by experimenting with new approaches to improve learner engagement and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Learning Strategy Consultants to understand client vision, goals, learner personas, and learner experiences.
  • Gather and analyze requirements with client and internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, product managers, and users.
  • Support delivery teams by maintaining shared understanding of client vision during multimedia development, navigational design, and content experience design.
  • Monitor trends in education and learning methodologies and incorporate new techniques or technologies into learning design.
  • Apply instructional design, UX, and pedagogical principles to strategy, planning, development, and design.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in user experience design and/or developing learning solutions across different learning segments.
  • Experience working with client stakeholders and supporting program delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and practices, including the ADDIE model, adult learning principles, interactive learning design, and blended learning techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of UX design processes and best practices.
  • Experience developing digital content for various audiences.
  • Experience working with learning management systems, specifically Brightspace, or other LMS platforms.
  • Ability to translate abstract visions and goals into valuable deliverables.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical, consulting, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in user experience design and/or digital experience design.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $80,000–$100,000 CAD.
  • May be eligible for additional compensation, including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, and a Variable Incentive.
