Description

  • Conduct end-to-end background verifications and reference checks within 24–72 hours.
  • Verify at least two contactable direct managers, with a target of four to five across different companies.
  • Authenticate references for candidates with experience in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
  • Cross-verify alternative evidence for BPO roles, short-tenure positions, and unavailable references.
  • Validate referee identities using LinkedIn, official email signatures, public records, and other documentation.
  • Audit CVs, Workable profiles, and reference feedback for inconsistencies, timeline discrepancies, and undisclosed issues.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate integrity red flags and unverified claims.
  • Escalate exceptions involving privacy restrictions, NDAs, unreachable contacts, or low verification scores.
  • Coordinate exception waiver forms when onboarding begins before checks are complete.
  • Maintain real-time tracking and status updates in the monday.com Reference Check Visibility Board.
  • Use WhatsApp channels and structured follow-ups to resolve candidate, recruiter, and referee delays.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, HR compliance, background screening, or candidate vetting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct professional outreach to executives and international managers.
  • Persistence in following up with referees across Australia, New Zealand, and UK time zones.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing high-volume workflows through time-blocking and project management tools such as monday.com and Workable.
  • Experience with Australia, New Zealand, or UK markets is preferred.
  • Experience in BPO environments is preferred.
  • Ability to meet 24–72-hour turnaround targets and maintain accurate documentation and escalation records.
