Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and variations.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents to build pricing assumptions.
  • Build up rates for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting tenders within required timeframes.
  • Price variations and scope changes and support project managers with cost advice during delivery.
  • Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Maintain estimating databases, pricing schedules, and job cost records.
  • Prepare take-offs, templates, estimating reports, and cost comparisons.
  • Support CRM updates, document management, quote follow-ups, and pipeline tracking.
  • Use AI and modern tools to speed up estimating and administrative tasks and improve SOPs.

Requirements

  • Experience or strong capability in estimating, pricing, or quantity surveying work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a data-accuracy mindset.
  • Ability to analyze complex drawings and specifications into logical costs.
  • High comfort level with technology and interest in using AI or modern tools.
  • Disciplined in following SOPs and maintaining organized documentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and reduce manual admin work.
  • Experience with estimating databases, pricing schedules, CRM updates, or similar systems is preferred.
  • Ability to measure performance against estimate precision, turnaround speed, tender success, and process improvements.
