Description

  • Contact inbound referrals and qualify them at a high level before booking meetings for brokers.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and set clear expectations about the process.
  • Guide clients through document requirements and collect, organise, and validate documents over a 5–7 day period.
  • Enter, maintain, and update accurate client information in the CRM.
  • Track file progress closely and follow up consistently to prevent applications from stalling.
  • Prepare complete and accurate files for submission to the credit analyst team.
  • Manage handover to credit analysts and support them with follow-ups and outstanding items.
  • Notify clients of approvals and guide them through the next steps after approval.
  • Assist with final document collection and support clients through to settlement.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in AU mortgage broking or loan processing.
  • Strong understanding of standard mortgage document requirements.
  • Experience using Mercury CRM is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and follow up consistently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Customer service mindset with patience and persistence when working with clients.
  • Process-driven, detail-focused, and able to take ownership of tasks through to completion.
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is preferred.
  • Experience in a broker support or client service role is preferred.
