Description

  • Own bookkeeping and the month-end close across multiple related Australian entities.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including invoicing and collections.
  • Coordinate payroll and related compliance processes.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow visibility and working capital tracking.
  • Support inventory planning and operational controls for the business with physical products.
  • Work with Xero, ApprovalMax, and Unleashed to keep books accurate and processes disciplined.
  • Maintain financial operations for a family investment trust, operating company, health and wellness business, and household budget.
  • Produce clear reporting and insights that help the owner make better decisions.
  • Identify cost savings, cash protection opportunities, and process improvements across the group.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of finance and operations experience in SMEs or owner-operated businesses.
  • Deep, current experience with Xero in multi-entity setups, including a trust.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance topics, including BAS, GST, super, STP, and FBT.
  • Demonstrated weekly cash flow management experience with measurable improvements in DSO, late fees, or working capital.
  • Fluency in Google Sheets and ability to extend an existing model.
  • Inventory management exposure, including reorder points, EOQ, and S&OP rhythm.
  • Analytical and proactive mindset with a track record of surfacing insights without being asked.

Benefits

  • Salary of Php 90,000 to Php 115,000 per month.
  • Australian working hours.
  • 0.8 FTE / 4 days per week schedule.
  • Opportunity to work directly with the owner and experienced Australian accountants and tax advisors.
  • Role structured around finance and operations, not executive-assistant duties.
