Description

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications for financial services products.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Implement modern front-end best practices, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, secure transactions, and data privacy.
  • Use Git for version control and work with testing tools to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Stay current with front-end trends, FinTech innovations, and web security best practices.
  • Ensure all work adheres to regulatory requirements and financial services industry standards such as GDPR and PSD2.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer in a FinTech or financial services environment, preferably with Australian, UK, or US-based companies.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Understanding of API integration, including RESTful services and WebSockets.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles, especially for financial applications.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Experience using Figma or Sketch to collaborate with designers.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Portfolio is required.
  • Experience with financial data or blockchain technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RegTech and security standards in the FinTech sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
