Description

  • Architect, design, and provide operational consultation for private cloud and infrastructure services.
  • Serve as a technical expert for converged and hyperconverged solutions using Cisco UCS X and VMware vSAN.
  • Support project teams with network and virtualization expertise to help develop new and existing solutions.
  • Own individual infrastructure projects that advance the IT environment.
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to colleagues on technical matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, including process enhancements, automation proposals, and cloud integration.
  • Contribute to best practices that improve overall infrastructure performance.
  • Negotiate technical infrastructure solutions with providers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in network design and architecture using Cisco and VMware solutions.
  • Experience with Cisco UCS deployment, operations, and vSphere networking.
  • CCNP certification and L4 experience in computer networks.
  • Knowledge of GxP and the ability to create corporate documentation such as Architecture Handbook, Functional Specification, Design Specification, Installation Qualification, Test Specification, User Requirements Specification, and guidelines.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, service management, or technology.
  • Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • VCP-DCV certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of VMware NSX (preferred).
  • Experience with development/deployment, project management, vendor management, and risk management (preferred).
  • AWS/Azure integration knowledge and hands-on experience (preferred).
  • Experience with SAN switches and Fibre Channel (preferred).
