Description

  • Review constructability, permitting, site, execution, and project risks with Development and Execution teams.
  • Develop detailed baseline and pipeline project schedules, including durations and contingencies.
  • Support preliminary engineering specifications and construction and supply contract planning.
  • Develop project management and construction strategies, implementation plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage EPC RFP processes, including scoping, bidder evaluation, selection, and approval.
  • Lead EPC contract execution and early-stage engineering and design with legal, contract management, and execution teams.
  • Identify and select suppliers while developing contractor and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate project budgets and cash-spend forecasts with Cost Estimating and Controls.
  • Integrate project stakeholders and lead weekly project status meetings.
  • Formally transition executed contracts to the Director of Project Execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3–8 years of experience in renewable energy, industrial construction, or capital project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management, large-project construction methods, contract management, procurement, supply chain, permitting, and transportation logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining critical path method schedules.
  • Extensive EPC and BOP contracting experience, including RFPs, bid reviews, and contract-term negotiations.
  • Renewable energy contracting experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. construction labor relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Availability for 30%–50%+ travel to projects across the United States.
