Description

  • Architect and lead development of a cloud-native fleet management system for autonomous industrial vehicles.
  • Design and implement scalable distributed systems for high-volume real-time data processing and decision-making.
  • Develop APIs and microservices that integrate with autonomous vehicle platforms and customer systems.
  • Create algorithms for route optimization, task scheduling, and resource allocation across vehicle fleets.
  • Implement data analytics and machine learning features for predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and business intelligence.
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and mentor engineers while fostering code quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and customers to turn business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend systems and distributed architectures.
  • Experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms, preferably in IoT or robotics domains.
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or C++, with working knowledge of others.
  • Deep experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Apache Pulsar.
  • Strong background in database design and optimization, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Proficiency in building scalable WebSocket-based real-time communication systems.
  • Experience developing real-time data processing pipelines and analytics systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices such as Terraform or GitOps.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, mentoring junior developers, and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with IoT platforms, robotics frameworks such as ROS, or autonomous vehicle technologies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IoT communication protocols such as AMQP, MQTT, or DDS is preferred.
  • Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB or TimescaleDB is preferred.
  • Familiarity with edge computing, fog architectures, real-time operating systems, embedded software, geospatial processing, fleet management software, vehicle telematics, or simulation environments is preferred.
