Description

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and related identity services in a hybrid environment.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, DHCP, DNS, and file and directory access controls.
  • Support Microsoft 365 hybrid administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, licensing, and service configurations.
  • Lead Microsoft 365 upgrades, migrations, and platform modernization efforts.
  • Implement identity, access, and compliance controls using Conditional Access, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, and Defender for Office 365.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization platforms such as VxRail, VMware, and Horizon, including VM creation, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Oversee physical and virtual Windows servers, including monitoring, patching, backups, and troubleshooting.
  • Use PowerShell, scripting, and automation for system management, reporting, and operational support.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, configuration records, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Coordinate integration testing, transition to production, and interface activities with contractors and government organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience in an Active Directory environment.
  • Experience in an M365 hybrid environment with on-premises and Microsoft 365 systems.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.
  • Expert-level Active Directory and Entra ID administration in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience with Okta installation, configuration, and migrations.
  • Experience with certificate lifecycle management and PKI/CAC/ALT-token authentication.
  • Expert Microsoft 365 administration experience.
  • Experience managing VxRail, VMware, and Horizon environments.
  • Experience administering Windows systems using scripting and automation.
  • Experience with ManageEngine tools such as ADManager, ADAudit, and AD360.
  • Experience with Windows server deployment in AWS and virtualized environments, with Windows Server 2019/2022 preferred.
  • Experience with Intune or another MDM solution.
  • Experience with BeyondTrust/Bomgar remote assistance or PAM solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with VMware Horizon VDI or AWS WorkSpaces is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust High (Tier 4/BI) clearance.
  • Preference for Microsoft certifications.
  • Preference for VMware certification.
  • Preference for Okta certification.
