Description

  • Directly supervise, coach, hire, onboard, and develop the non-clinician care team.
  • Own clinician scheduling and coverage planning across a 24/7/365 operation.
  • Manage real-time patient queue flow, prioritization, and throughput against service level agreements.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce wait times and clear backlogs.
  • Use data and AI-enabled forecasting to anticipate staffing needs and coverage risks.
  • Develop, monitor, and report clinic operations KPIs to leadership.
  • Staff to demand within budget and steward labor and operational costs.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science on tooling and automation.
  • Collaborate with Medical Director, clinical leadership, Business Operations, People Operations, and Provider Operations.
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians to support satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in clinical or healthcare operations.
  • Direct experience running the day-to-day operations of a clinic or medical group.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience supervising non-clinician staff.
  • Experience owning clinician scheduling/coverage and/or real-time queue and throughput management.
  • Proven track record of improving operational KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm working in AI-forward workflows.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7/365 care delivery operation, including outside traditional business hours when required.
  • Demonstrated success leading in a fully remote environment and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in telehealth, virtual care, or digital health.
  • Preferred: Experience in high-growth, rapidly scaling organizations.
  • Preferred: Experience with workforce management and scheduling tools.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience deploying AI tools or automation to improve operational workflows.
