Description

  • Lead IT Incident & Problem Management for major outages, including command during high-severity incidents and driving resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
  • Manage service-level reporting and operational metrics such as availability, downtime, risk, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee ITSM tools and maintain accurate CMDB data integrity to support service governance.
  • Participate in CAB processes, release washups, and continuous improvement efforts to enable safe deployments.
  • Support automation, monitoring, and alerting initiatives to reduce MTTR and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans across IT and business units.
  • Partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders on incident response and operational readiness.
  • Ensure operational readiness for trading and financial platforms through incident and problem management practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Operations within fintech, banking, or trading environments.
  • Proven experience as a Major Incident Manager or Incident Commander handling real-time high-severity events.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Configuration Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JSM, HPSM, and CMDB.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics for availability, SLA compliance, and RCA trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead under pressure.
  • Good understanding of high-level software and infrastructure architecture.
  • Knowledge of trading systems, order management platforms, or exchanges is preferred.
  • Experience running Splunk queries and performing basic troubleshooting is preferred.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in global 24x7 financial services environments is preferred.
  • Willingness to work night shifts is preferred.
