Description

Research keywords and search trends to inform content strategy.
Optimize on-page metadata, structured data, and other SEO elements for evergreen editorial articles.
Conduct content audits and refresh pages to improve search rankings.
Support technical SEO implementations across the Audience Development team.
Track keyword rankings, traffic shifts, and content performance in Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
Optimize YouTube video metadata, including titles, descriptions, and chapters.
Audit, organize, and optimize playlists to improve discoverability and watch time.
Pull performance data, maintain tracking spreadsheets, and update internal dashboards.
Support A/B testing initiatives and report on results.
Compile competitive research and flag trends, opportunities, and anomalies to the SEO Manager.

Requirements

3+ years of SEO experience.
Experience implementing SEO process or structural changes based on data and user behavior.
Experience with analytics tools such as Google Search Console, YouTube Studio, Clearscope, and Ahrefs.
Experience with YouTube optimization.
Familiarity with optimizing for AI overviews or generative optimization.
Experience with A/B testing.
Strong knowledge of anime culture and its importance to the broader community.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant field.
Familiarity with social media platform algorithms, especially TikTok, search behavior, and traffic sources (bonus).
Experience with content management systems such as Storyblok (bonus).
Knowledge of structured data/schema markup, including experience with Databricks (bonus).
Experience with Mixpanel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms (bonus).
Experience in media, entertainment, or fan communities (bonus).

Benefits

$38.63 to $47.29 USD hourly pay range for Los Angeles.
Remote work location in Los Angeles.
Performance bonuses may be included as part of total rewards.
