Description

  • Design and build small, high-impact full-stack tools from concept to deployment.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Work within a small engineering pod to deliver quickly with high autonomy.
  • Rapidly prototype and validate solutions with internal stakeholders.
  • Integrate tools with third-party services, APIs, and internal systems.
  • Make pragmatic technical decisions suited to fast-moving internal tools.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and code quality.
  • Continuously refine, replace, or retire tools based on usage and feedback.
  • Identify inefficiencies and ship tools that improve team productivity.
  • Operate across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong full-stack capability across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Comfort stepping into an architectural role when needed.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of the full SDLC.
  • Deep daily usage of AI coding tools.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools beyond basic code generation.
  • Ability to leverage AI for prototyping, debugging, test generation, QA, code review, and security analysis.
  • Experience combining AI with automation/orchestration to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Familiarity with modern AI-enabled development environments and practices.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform, preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices, preferred.
  • Experience with workflow automation/orchestration tools such as n8n, Zapier, Temporal, or Airflow, preferred.
  • Experience integrating SaaS tools and APIs such as Slack, Notion, or Jira, preferred.
  • Comfort building lightweight internal UIs such as dashboards or admin panels, preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust, preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data engineering principles, preferred.
  • US work authorization required; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
