Description

  • Assist clients in developing KPI dashboards and management reporting for private equity sponsors.
  • Support the transition to rolling 13-week cash flow models.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reporting packages for lenders and banks.
  • Recommend improvements to help the OCFO achieve the desired operating model.
  • Support financial due diligence work, including buy-side and sell-side quality-of-earnings analyses.
  • Develop carve-out financials and support post-closing M&A integration planning.
  • Advise portfolio companies on complex accounting policy adoption, including revenue recognition, leases, and business combinations.
  • Prepare closing statements and opening balance sheets for acquisitions.
  • Support post-closing negotiations on final closing balance sheets in accordance with purchase agreements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of firm-approved AI-enabled client solutions and internal process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a public accounting firm or equivalent consulting firm with experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Restructuring, M&A strategy, Deals, and/or FP&A.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in a corporate FP&A role supporting internal leadership such as a CEO or CFO, with exposure to M&A transactions.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in portfolio support or operations at a Private Equity firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Experience working with Private Equity or within a highly acquisitive company.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, depending on client preferences.
  • Comfort with AI and demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools.
  • Continuous learning mindset with openness to emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
