Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of the organization’s Snowflake-based data warehouse.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines and integration patterns for enterprise analytics and reporting.
  • Design and maintain analytics-ready data models.
  • Establish best practices for data architecture, pipeline reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Manage and enhance integrations across Workday, Salesforce, Kantata, Sage Intacct, Concur, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Build and maintain integrations using Talend, Fivetran, system connectors, and APIs.
  • Improve the reliability and scalability of existing custom integrations.
  • Serve as the technical lead for data platform initiatives across infrastructure, application, and platform teams.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external development partners to deliver data platform capabilities.
  • Provide architectural guidance, technical oversight, documentation standards, and operational excellence for vendor and offshore resources.
  • Establish foundational data governance, data quality, access control, and pipeline monitoring practices.
  • Partner with Architecture and Security teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or data platform development.
  • Experience designing and implementing data warehouses or modern data platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data sets.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Fivetran, or similar technologies.
  • Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms via APIs or connectors.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, pipeline architecture, and integration design.
  • Experience coordinating technical work across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience integrating HR, CRM, ERP, and financial systems (preferred).
  • Experience building data platforms supporting finance, HR, or operational analytics (preferred).
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience working with enterprise architecture and security teams (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives (preferred).
