Description

  • Build and support high-performance data solutions for the Data Analytics team.
  • Monitor production data tools and respond to issues as they arise.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems across data systems and pipelines.
  • Develop ETL processes and data warehousing solutions with long-term maintainability in mind.
  • Collaborate with team members and product teams to support the full data and business intelligence lifecycle.
  • Support analytics tools, including patching, updating, and resolving system failures.
  • Work with end users to reduce friction and maximize the value of internal tools.
  • Own solutions from development through production support.
  • Contribute to a small team responsible for the organization’s data and business intelligence environment.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills, including data modeling concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Solid programming skills in Python or Go.
  • Willingness to learn other languages as needed, including Groovy and Perl.
  • Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration tools such as Databricks.
  • Comfort with the Linux command line and shell scripting.
  • TechOps experience supporting analytics tools and troubleshooting system issues or failures.
  • Interest in ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a small team.
  • Minimal travel availability of 1-3 weeks per year for on-site meetings.
