Description

  • Conduct current-state IT governance and security assessments using data analysis, interviews, and documented observations and recommendations.
  • Identify process and technology improvements for IT governance, security, and related risk areas.
  • Support the growth of the ITS service line by developing and rolling out new service capabilities in IT security, business continuity, and ERP governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Build technical and project management capability through feedback, mentoring, and firm-sponsored training programs.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in one or more IT domains.
  • Lead assigned IT general controls and application controls work across 3-4 project teams.
  • Create system narratives, identify key controls, and conclude on the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to clients and team members in written and verbal form.
  • Deliver high-quality work with minimal review time and accurate review notes.
  • Respond to client needs, balance competing priorities, and maintain project progress with minimal client disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; information systems, computer science, business, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in IT consulting, IT internal audit, IT compliance, and SSAE 18 engagements.
  • Experience working in a large public accounting or consulting firm is required.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage small and large IT audit engagements while providing insight, guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to keep tasks on track and communicate effectively.
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Exceptional client service skills, including the ability to handle challenging client interactions.
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, or CIA certification is desired.
