Description

  • Oversee data transformation and analytics projects across performance analytics, transaction support, forecasting, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Build analytics solutions for transformational events such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and exit preparedness.
  • Use accounting and financial due diligence skills to reconcile transaction-level data and produce supportable, auditable performance metrics.
  • Provide strategic counsel to corporate and private equity leaders and present recommendations in management meetings.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, modeling, visualization, benchmarking, and descriptive and predictive analyses.
  • Lead teams in analytics and consulting engagements while mentoring junior team members and resolving complex project issues.
  • Cultivate new client relationships, deepen existing relationships, and support business development efforts.
  • Guide clients through their analytics journey by defining a roadmap and supporting implementation.
  • Develop and implement firm-approved AI-enabled solutions in compliance with data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Contribute thought leadership, internal practice improvement, hiring efforts, and proposal work to generate new business.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of relevant experience combining financial due diligence for transaction services and data analytics.
  • Proven experience with data processing tools such as Alteryx, PowerQuery, Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in SaaS, Industrial Manufacturing, Healthcare, Consumer Products, Retail, and/or Professional Services.
  • Experience with analytics such as ARR cube and snowball, revenue/margin and price-volume analysis, and/or cash collections waterfall.
  • Experience in functional areas such as supply chain, operations, and corporate finance.
  • Experience with advanced analytical methods such as pricing studies, customer lifetime value, retention, geospatial, and clustering analyses.
  • Experience in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
  • CA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
  • Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, PowerBI, or Tableau certification preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when necessary.
  • Comfort responsibly exploring and adopting firm-approved AI tools and a continuous learning mindset around AI and automation.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and helping resolve complex issues.
