Description

  • Design, build, and optimize software for data collection agents running on Windows, Linux, and Mac environments.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and engineers to turn feature requirements into high-performance user experiences.
  • Own the development lifecycle from design and implementation through testing and maintenance.
  • Write clean, efficient, reliable code that meets customer needs.
  • Develop automated tests and comprehensive test plans to validate product quality and feature behavior.
  • Help maintain and support SaaS products, including participation in 24x7 on-call rotations.
  • Handle stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required.
  • Work on backend features for data collection across a large-scale fleet of Edge nodes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, including memory management, CPU architecture and scheduling, filesystems, process lifecycles, and networking.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Experience using the latest AI tools to accelerate feature delivery without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical topics to stakeholders.
  • Professional experience developing software with TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience using assertion frameworks and automated regression testing tools such as Mocha.
  • Prior experience working on data-intensive applications and/or data stream processing.
  • Experience working remotely across time zones.
  • Preferred: steady ownership mindset and ability to consistently deliver high-quality, high-performance work.
  • Preferred: a sense of humor and comfort working in a collaborative culture.

  • Base salary range of $160,000 to $210,000 USD, depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
