Description

  • Help customers understand the value of Cribl’s Storage & Analysis products throughout the sales process.
  • Partner with a Product Sales Specialist to develop and execute sales strategies and support customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the broader Field team to create demos, presentations, and other selling materials.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof of Value events.
  • Answer customer questions during initial sales calls and early technical evaluations.
  • Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities and help ensure successful outcomes.
  • Document interesting use cases in blog posts and product documentation.
  • Provide feedback that helps shape the future of Cribl’s Storage & Analysis offering.
  • Work across time zones as needed and occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security solutions in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Forward Deployed Engineering, or a similar customer-facing function.
  • Proven success selling into both new and existing customers (landing and expanding).
  • Ability to identify new and existing opportunities through consultative selling methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML technologies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Must reside in the Western Region, with Pacific and Mountain Time Zones preferred.

  • Base salary range of $130,000–$190,000 USD.
