Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for finance, risk, and product reporting.
  • Write efficient SQL queries in Snowflake for reporting, validation, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Design scalable semantic data models in Power BI, including DAX measures, star-schema structures, and calculated tables.
  • Build and manage data transformation logic using dbt in collaboration with the data engineering team.
  • Partner with finance, risk, and product stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting requirements.
  • Own data validation and quality checks across reporting surfaces.
  • Document metric definitions, business logic, and calculation methodology to support metric governance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reports, reduce manual processes, and increase self-service across business teams.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in data analytics or BI roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the lending or financial services domain is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python or scripting for data analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks is a plus.
