Description

  • Work with stakeholders to expand the volume and types of customer-defined targetings calculated in real time.
  • Develop new features for in-house streaming key/value databases.
  • Improve resource utilization across data pipelines, including validation, ingestion, storage, and dynamic queries.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design services that meet product and business requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain large real-time data pipelines.
  • Monitor and support service infrastructure and deployments.
  • Design and deploy data jobs as part of the data platform.
  • Optimize systems for data consistency, throughput, and event-driven processing.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing, building, implementing, and maintaining large real-time data pipelines with Kafka and Kafka Streams.
  • Significant expertise in data consistency, throughput, and event-driven system concepts.
  • Fluency in Python and/or Java.
  • Experience with designing and deploying data jobs.
  • Experience managing and monitoring service infrastructure and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, Trino or another distributed SQL engine, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS services such as S3 and RDS.
  • Basic knowledge of Terraform.
  • Experience with data pipeline and streaming systems is required.
