Description

  • Translate project documentation between Thai and English, including requirements, user stories, test cases, manuals, training materials, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to accurately capture Thai client requirements.
  • Interpret during client meetings, workshops, and product demonstrations, including note-taking.
  • Support written communication with Thai clients through emails, meeting minutes, follow-ups, and clarification requests.
  • Review Thai-language materials for accuracy, tone, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
  • Localize product and platform content for Thai users while maintaining consistent terminology.
  • Build and maintain a Thai-English glossary of insurance and technical terms.
  • Identify wording that could be unclear, culturally inappropriate, or open to misinterpretation.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the team.

Requirements

  • Fluent or native-level written and spoken Thai and English proficiency.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with structured documentation and consistent formatting.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and communicate proactively across time zones.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated from a relevant degree program such as Communication, Languages, Translation, English, or Linguistics.
  • 1–3 years of Thai-English translation-related experience; students and experienced translators are welcome.
  • Interest in insurance, technology, or insurtech preferred.
  • Previous translation, interpretation, or localization experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Jira, or Confluence is a plus; availability for at least 4 hours per day, 5 days per week is required.
