Description

  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on appropriate solution architectures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design.
  • Work with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during solution deployment.
  • Design tailored solutions for a modern cloud-based insurance environment.
  • Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components to meet client needs.
  • Support clients throughout the implementation process with ongoing guidance.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented in line with client expectations and company standards.
  • Explore alternative approaches to identify the most effective solution for each client.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to improve solutions.
  • Contribute to defining and socialising product and enterprise roadmaps.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery, preferably in the insurance vertical.
  • Experience with multiple lines of business in insurance.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.
  • Strong understanding of business architecture models and patterns.
  • Experience designing solutions in relational database and NoSQL environments.
  • Experience designing API- and microservices-centric solutions.
  • Exposure to authentication and authorisation concepts such as SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certification in an architecture discipline such as TOGAF or Zachman is a distinct advantage.
  • Certification in a cloud environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience with multiple development languages and various database engines is advantageous.
  • Understanding of low-code platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in English as a primary working language.
