Description

  • Engage clients to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solution architectures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs, product strategy, and solution design.
  • Work with Delivery Managers to oversee architecture during solution deployment.
  • Evaluate creative alternatives and select effective solution approaches.
  • Ensure implementations meet client expectations and company standards.
  • Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components for client solutions.
  • Support and guide clients throughout implementation.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to improve solutions.
  • Contribute to product and enterprise roadmaps, value propositions, solution documents, and business cases.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of solution architecture design and delivery experience in the insurance industry, covering multiple lines of business.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based technology products in enterprise environments, especially AWS and/or GCP.
  • Ability to translate business and client requirements into actionable solution architectures.
  • Knowledge of business architecture models and patterns.
  • Experience designing highly available, scalable cloud applications.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, APIs, and microservices architectures.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML, and identity federation.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing relationships with corporate clients and communicating with both executives and project teams.
  • Understanding of insurance business processes across at least two lines of business.
  • Ability to self-learn emerging technologies; low-code platform experience is preferred.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and database engines is advantageous.
  • Architecture certification such as TOGAF or Zachman is preferred.
  • Cloud certification and broad knowledge of a cloud platform’s capabilities are preferred.
  • High proficiency in English.
