Description

  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and advise on appropriate solution architectures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design.
  • Work with Delivery Managers to oversee architecture during solution deployment.
  • Design tailored solutions for a modern cloud-based insurance environment.
  • Identify, specify, and select off-the-shelf components to meet client needs.
  • Support clients throughout the implementation process with ongoing guidance.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented in line with client expectations and company standards.
  • Explore creative alternatives and assess the most effective solution options.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to improve solution design.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles in the insurance sector.
  • Experience across multiple lines of business within insurance.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.
  • Strong understanding of business architecture models and patterns.
  • Experience designing solutions in relational database and NoSQL environments.
  • Experience designing API- and microservices-centric solutions.
  • Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts such as SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Certification in an architecture discipline such as TOGAF or Zachman is a distinct advantage.
  • Cloud certification is a distinct advantage, with broad knowledge of cloud platform capabilities.
  • Experience or understanding of low-code platforms is ideally preferred.
  • Experience with multiple development languages and various database engines is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, relationship management, organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, and judgment skills.
  • Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business.
