Description

  • Work with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and develop analytical solutions.
  • Plan and design business processes and system modifications for simple to semi-complex needs.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements through workshops, interviews, and other techniques.
  • Create business requirements documents and user stories to support requested changes.
  • Develop complex test case scenarios and oversee testing to confirm client requirements are built into the system design.
  • Support QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and change maintenance.
  • May plan, allocate, and monitor the work of other business analysts.
  • Analyze systems and data to surface actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Assist with project task estimates and update process and procedural documentation.
  • Develop basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the health insurance industry is required.
  • Insurtech experience is preferred.
  • Health insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of business analysis concepts, requirement definition, technical translation, and Agile prioritization.
  • Experience with facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is a must.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of process documentation, system functionality, data integration, and workflow documentation.
  • Technical writing skills is a plus.
