Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software solutions.
  • Provide technical direction on front-end and back-end architecture, technology selection, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive solutions.
  • Optimize platform performance to support large datasets and high user traffic.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high code quality.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs to improve platform reliability.
  • Ensure web application security and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
  • Design the platform for scalability and flexibility as the user base grows.
  • Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth and contribution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with experience leading complex SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
  • Strong experience with RESTful API design, including OpenAPI and Swagger specifications.
  • Familiarity with API gateways and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead or manager role.
  • Strong practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing across front-end and back-end codebases.
  • Knowledge of web security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience optimizing performance for high-traffic web applications.
  • Willingness to work Canada time zone hours for client calls and project go-live, from GMT -7 to GMT -4.
