Description

  • Own product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging architecture, and go-to-market plans across platform modules and buyer segments.
  • Lead market and competitive research to inform segmentation, personas, pricing, and product roadmap alignment.
  • Align Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership on strategy, messaging, and priorities.
  • Establish and monitor product marketing KPIs, including pipeline influence, win rates, win/loss insights, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop customer advocacy programs, including advisory boards, case studies, testimonials, and reference networks.
  • Create customer- and prospect-facing assets such as battlecards, sales enablement materials, website content, videos, and thought leadership.
  • Own sales enablement strategy and equip sales teams with persona- and use-case-specific messaging and tools.
  • Represent Coursedog at industry events, conferences, analyst briefings, and speaking engagements.
  • Build relationships with analysts, press, and key opinion leaders to strengthen market perception and credibility.
  • Use AI and emerging technologies to improve research, content creation, competitive analysis, and customer insights; travel approximately 20% for conferences and events.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
  • Higher education experience is preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, buyer personas, and segmentation.
  • Proven ability to develop positioning and messaging for multiple audiences and personas.
  • Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution of high-quality marketing assets.
  • Experience leading sales enablement and measuring impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with executives, customers, and external audiences.
  • Experience with SaaS pricing, packaging, or go-to-market launches.
  • Familiarity with higher education or complex B2B enterprise software and effective use of AI marketing tools.

  • Base salary of $125,000–$130,000, with performance-based OTE of $135,000–$150,000.
