Description

  • Design and implement multi-cloud security controls across Coupa's cloud environment.
  • Build policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code security guardrails and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Harden containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters through scanning, admission control, pod security, network policies, and runtime detection.
  • Own vulnerability analysis for application packages, container images, and third-party dependencies.
  • Design and implement security remediations, including code fixes, cloud configuration changes, and IAM policy updates.
  • Support incident response and forensics through log analysis, root-cause investigation, and remediation validation.
  • Partner with Risk & Compliance to provide technical evidence and control validation for audits.
  • Mentor other security engineers and review designs, remediation plans, and analysis approaches.
  • Participate in the on-call and incident rotation and improve response runbooks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering or cloud operations.
  • Experience independently owning complex assessments from scoping through remediation.
  • Practical experience with cloud security fundamentals in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of IAM, networking, and common cloud misconfiguration classes.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Experience building or extending internal security tooling.
  • Experience with dependency and container vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, or AWS/GCP security certifications are a plus.
