Description

  • Lead all campus-level property management employees and the day-to-day operations of resident hall property and facility management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with campus, business, community, and other key stakeholders to support local initiatives.
  • Execute business strategies and company initiatives, including milestones, budgets, deliverables, and compliance with company direction.
  • Review and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities, address challenges, and improve net operating income.
  • Organize functional groups and team activities to keep operations productive and resources properly allocated.
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and performance management for a diverse team.
  • Train, coach, motivate, and mentor team members on company culture, business goals, financial management, and sound judgment.
  • Develop and deploy plans to maximize occupancy and ready inventory through turn management.
  • Protect physical assets by planning repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a management role in conventional or campus property management, with regional-level experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated business sophistication and financial aptitude to lead operations and help shape long-term strategy.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy change management initiatives that streamline and modernize operations.
  • Proven history of leading by example while empowering and holding team members accountable.
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships focused on shared goals and customer value.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and resolve complex or sensitive matters.
  • Computer proficiency with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
