Description

  • Provide leadership and support to the maintenance team at the assigned location.
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance operations, including customer service, inventory control, procurement, and safety training.
  • Champion Corvias’ culture, mission, vision, and values while reinforcing a customer service mindset.
  • Lead recruitment, retention, supervision, and performance feedback for a diverse maintenance team.
  • Organize team activities and allocate resources to meet productivity and business goals.
  • Assist with annual maintenance budget development and manage expenditures within approved limits.
  • Analyze financial and maintenance operations reports and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure uniform policies and procedures for building systems, amenities, and inventory management.
  • Ensure staff and vendors comply with local, municipal, and state health, safety, and building code regulations.
  • Solicit and evaluate maintenance contract proposals, manage supplies and equipment, and oversee work safety programs and material logistics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or technical school training strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in residential property management with a focus on facility management and maintenance.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Proven competency in at least 4 trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and building construction.
  • HVAC experience, OSHA knowledge, EPA compliance, or relevant trade skills/licenses are a strong plus.
  • Universal or Type I/Type II EPA technician certification preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of full-cycle maintenance, including preventative, predictive, planned, and make-ready programs.
  • Ability to create scopes of work and oversee capital projects up to $10,000.
  • Strong budgeting, financial analysis, projection, and expense control experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups at all organizational levels.
  • Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; Entrata or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required with ability to drive company vehicles.

  • Salary range of $85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
