Description

  • Analyze patient records to track history, medication adherence, and treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Review and manage medication lists and coordinate prescription refills with pharmacies.
  • Maintain accurate patient interaction notes and care plans in electronic health records.
  • Report significant changes in patient condition to healthcare team members and family.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Use telehealth platforms and secure communication tools for virtual visits and patient coordination.
  • Manage patient appointments, schedules, medical records, and healthcare documentation.
  • Assist with research, data entry, report generation, and other healthcare administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (USRN) license for Texas.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare administration processes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in healthcare documentation and records management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and confidentiality protocols.
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar administrative role in the healthcare industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Experience coordinating with pharmacies, managing medication lists, and supporting patient care plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF tools, scheduling tools such as Calendly or Google Calendar, and secure messaging platforms.
  • Licensed Windows 10 operating system with at least an Intel Core i5 CPU and 8GB RAM.
  • Stable DSL or fiber internet with at least 25 Mbps and a backup internet connection.
  • Headset with microphone and at least a 720p webcam.
