Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities, including RFPs, partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entries.
  • Lead proposal development and RFP responses by coordinating cross-functional contributors and meeting deadlines.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Business Development Associates.
  • Build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and prospective clients.
  • Support financial analyses and business cases for partnerships and contracts.
  • Coordinate with operations, clinical, legal, and finance teams on growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Oversee proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and other business development resources.
  • Manage CRM and analytics tools, track pipelines, and report performance indicators to leadership.
  • Support business development budgeting and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, strategy, sales, or partnerships, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing staff and leading high-visibility initiatives.
  • Healthcare, behavioral health, or related market experience preferred.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis, assess market opportunities, and develop business cases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and presentation development.
  • Thorough understanding of Medicaid and publicly funded delivery systems.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required for business development activities.
  • MBA, MPH, or MHA preferred; fully vaccinated or exempt under the company’s policy is required.
